To celebrate 200 years since the birth of Charles Darwin, the BBC comissioned five eminent scientists to write ficticious letters to the great man. My favourite was from Peter Bentley, which, has luck would have it, is available to listen to and read through Peter Bentley's own blog.
I think it's an excellent letter. What would you have written?

Good letter, of course. I need to print the text to understand the compelete meaning and enjoy the ideas from Bentley. It's a good idea read and listen the text at the same times.
I'm very happy to be biologist like Darwin. I have been in the Galapago Islands were Darwin started to think in the evolution an try to solve the mystery of mysteries. Wonderful. May be a day I will write a letter to Bentley or to Darwin explaying my feeling about his discoveries.
And finally, Thank you Andrew. This exercicies are better than linguasit.
Yes, I was very excited by this series. You can, at the time of writing, still access a lot of wonderful radio material from the BBC on this subject. They also hosted, along with the Open University, a debate on Darwin which is also very enjoyable (but some very difficult English):http://www.open2.net/forum/showthread.php?t=5194
